Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic procurement specialist to manage the buying activities of our electrical hardware manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong vendor network, sound knowledge of sourcing engineering components and materials, and experience working in companies with significant revenue in a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with vendors and ensure timely procurement of materials and consumables.
  2. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  3. Manage the end-to-end procurement process including requisition, purchase order creation, follow-ups, and delivery.
  4. Source new vendors and continuously evaluate existing suppliers for performance, pricing, and quality.
  5. Coordinate with the store, accounts, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
  6. Analyze market trends to forecast material cost fluctuations and availability.
  7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile:

B.E. Mechanical with 4-5 years of experience in a similar electrical hardware or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of engineering materials, MROs, and consumables used in electrical manufacturing. Proven negotiation and cost-saving skills. Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel. Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
