Job Title: Manual QA Engineer

Manual QA Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the quality of e-commerce platforms.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms and a strong understanding of end-to-end testing workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system specifications and business requirements to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Design and execute test cases for web and mobile platforms.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium is a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
