Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic network leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have around 6-8 years of experience in data center networking, specifically in software defined networking (SDN) for private cloud and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. To design, install, maintain, and manage the equipment needed to provide cloud network infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  2. To ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
  3. To maintain and update infrastructure documentation.
  4. To collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. To lead a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise where required.
  6. To evaluate team member performance and provide feedback.
  7. To monitor key performance metrics to assess risks and business impact.
  8. To develop solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  9. To manage and deliver technical validation activities.

Requirements

This is a technical role requiring 80% technical capabilities and 20% managerial skills. We're looking for someone with proven experience, hands-on technical expertise, and ability to provide mentorship with focus on compliance with business SLAs and goals.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless systems.
  • Strong understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
