We are seeking an experienced Port Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a senior-level role that requires expertise in designing, planning, and constructing marine infrastructure.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects. They will also provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and plan marine infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex port infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
- Develop cost-effective solutions for marine infrastructure, minimizing environmental impacts and maximizing project benefits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marine construction works, meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
- Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
- Proficiency in marine engineering software (e.g., MIKE21, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro) for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
- Strong knowledge of coastal processes including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
