Job Purpose:

  • Execute strategic objectives aligned with overall business strategy to drive growth and profitability.
  • Support buying activities for multiple categories, including new product introductions.
  • Foster long-term relationships with suppliers to achieve pricing, quality, and promotional goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Buying: Develop forecasts to drive category buying plans and execute buying processes to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Pricing & Promotions: Set competitive pricing points and adjust as needed to increase sales and reduce stagnant inventory.
  • Brand Co-ordination: Manage supplier interfaces, collaborate on product range expansions, and negotiate additional income from brands.
  • Operational Support: Facilitate brand trainings, recruit and evaluate Brand Ambassadors, and promote sales productivity and brand building.

Requirements:

  • Graduation with Master of Business Administration or equivalent from a reputable institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Category Management in Travel Retail / Duty Free Business.
