Indirect Buyer

Job Summary

Job responsibilities:
Among his responsibilities, the category manager in charge of professional services has to:

- Support the professional services global category manager (direct report)
- Management of RFx; monitoring suppliers contracts (anticipate renewals )
- Activity reviews organization; monitoring of KPIs
- Ensure suppliers follow-up and monitoring through business reviews
- Animate suppliers panel through dedicated initiatives
- Support procurement process compliance (purchase requests approver)
- Contribute to Imerys sustainability targets ; generate ideas around sustainability
- Carry out market monitoring; establish playbooks

Key Activities:

- Make sure group purchasing policy is followed
- Establish monitoring of managed projects by achieving the set savings objectives
- Implement framework contracts to optimize the supplier panel; identify alternative suppliers
- Get from internal customers visibility on their projects pipeline

Profile:

- Min 4 years experience
- Professional services purchasing background mandatory
