The Lead Procurement role plays a pivotal part in driving strategic sourcing and procurement operations for the organization.

This position is crucial for optimizing costs, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational growth through effective vendor management and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Conduct in-depth research on the Excipients marketplace, identifying emerging trends, potential suppliers, quality standards, and regulatory compliance and competitive pricing structures to inform Procurement strategy.
  • Drive cost reduction targets across geographies to meet the PPV Saving numbers, identifying cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, contract renegotiations, price negotiations, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Devising Best in Class Procurement Strategy for shortlisting Products for short-term and long-term contracts.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, contract renegotiations, price negotiations, value engineering initiatives, and exploring alternative API / Excipients solutions. Engaging into Negotiations for all Class A vendors in partnership with commercial team for Materials contributing 60% of total Spend across API and Excipient Category

Required Skills and Qualifications">

M.Sc/M.Pharm/B.Pharma/BE/BTech or similar

Experience: Sourcing, Contract Renegotiation, Cost Reduction, Vendor Management, Procurement Strategy
