Procurement Leader

This role encompasses the entire procurement process, ensuring seamless execution across various projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Governance and Process Improvement: Develop and implement robust procurement policies to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness. Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  2. Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including selection, negotiation, and contract management. Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers for long-term collaboration and cost efficiency.
  3. Strategic Procurement and Cost Management: Forecast market trends to identify opportunities for strategic tie-ups and price hedging. Identify and source new materials that contribute to cost reduction and profitability. Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive pricing.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Streamline procurement processes across multiple projects to ensure consistency and efficiency. Guide and support teams in day-to-day procurement activities, providing expertise and oversight. Implement agile procurement practices to respond quickly to project needs and market changes.
  5. Reporting and Benchmarking: Prepare and publish detailed management reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. Benchmark procurement practices against industry standards to position the company as a leader in procurement excellence.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives and project success.
