Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our procurement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the steel products market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to procurement departments, ensuring seamless coordination with promoters.
  • Develop and execute tactical execution plans to achieve competitive pricing on various inputs services and steel procurement.
  • Enable the company management to set up long-term strategic plans and approaches.
  • Manage vendor relationships across all verticals and business groups to minimize input costs.
  • Evaluate bids and award contracts for materials and services.
  • Ensure purchase orders have necessary comments from Finance department on financial matters.
  • Implement check-and-balance systems for steel purchases to ensure compliance and random audits.
  • Coordinate with Logistics department for licenses status, FPS, DGFT, export-import documentation, and certification.
  • Visit plants, vendors, and stakeholders as required.
  • Review audit observations and take corrective actions.
  • Utilize ERP Systems and provide inputs for improvement.
  • Ensure seamless information flow within and between departments.
  • Submit regular MIS reports to up-line management.
  • Report daily alerts and plan of action to up-line management.
