The primary function of this role is to oversee the timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents, ensuring alignment with project schedules.

  • Delivery of Engineering Drawings & Documents within specified timeframes.
  • Coordinate deliveries with project timelines.
  • Review design outputs from design engineers and draughtspersons, validating calculations for electrical equipment.
  • Evaluate vendor deliverables related to engineering aspects.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively, meeting deadlines.
  • Estimate and plan man-hour requirements for projects.
  • Review bill of quantities (BOQ) and provide technical clarifications to the contracts team.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental checks through coordination with various disciplines.
  • Provide support and clarification to site execution teams as needed.
  • Validate vendor submissions against client specifications and forward validation documents to supply chain management.
  • Inspect equipment submitted by vendors following validation document approval.
  • Clarify design and requirement issues with site execution teams.
  • Collect project details from clients and section heads, including soil reports and topographical surveys.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to inform design specifications for obtaining approvals.
  • Obtain inputs for project details from vendors, such as general arrangement drawings.
  • Support electrical, DC, AC, and instrumentation teams in reviewing vendor drawings.
  • Submit man-hour requirements for undertaking and reviewing design and drawings.
  • Deliver design outputs like module mounting structures, GA drawings, control rooms, inverter rooms, civil and structural drawings, and solar plant infrastructure designs.
