Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned legal expert to join our organization. As a Corporate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and supporting business operations with risk-mitigated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts: master service agreements, statement of works, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice: corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters.
  • Support business teams: client negotiations and enable seamless deal closures.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: data protection, IT laws, and international regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Manage legal risks: provide counsel to leadership on strategic decisions.
  • Liaise with external counsel: litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
  • Support policy development: processes and compliance frameworks for global operations.
  • Conduct internal training: awareness sessions on compliance and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • LLB/LLM degree: from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of experience: post-qualification in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise: contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Familiarity with laws: data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment.
  • Excellent skills: communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work: independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure: multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership: Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is a plus.
