Job Title: Legal Counsel

Overview

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to oversee all legal and regulatory matters for our organization.

This role involves drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, preparing applications, and representing the company in legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will closely collaborate with senior advocates and external advisors to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
  • Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices as required.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely applications, petitions, and responses.
  • Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Closely coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure efficient handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and keep management informed.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • L.L.B degree (L.L.M preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
