Job Opportunity:

The Corporate Counsel role is a key position that requires a legal professional with 8-14 years of experience in a legal & compliance role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate risk issues, and implement remediation solutions.
  • Provide guidance on reviewing and drafting policies, guidelines, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advising on compliance with data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention.
  • Support on cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors.
  • Advising on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, including reviewing policy/guidance documents.

Requirements:

  • LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as compliance counsel.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises, and independently solve moderately complex issues.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
