Job Opportunity:
- Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to spearhead our institution's curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and promote research, publications, and innovation among faculty and students.
- Academic Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership in curriculum development and academic planning, driving academic excellence and student success.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of research, publications, and innovation among faculty and staff.
- Administration & Governance:
- Manage day-to-day administration, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality outcomes.
- Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution, promoting a safe and respectful community.
- Quality & Accreditation:
- Drive accreditation processes for quality enhancement, leveraging expertise and resources to achieve excellence.
- Implement continuous quality improvement in academics and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
- Student Development:
- Encourage extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities, enriching the student experience and promoting holistic growth.
- Ensure effective student support systems, including mentorship, counseling, and career guidance, empowering students to reach their full potential.
- Industry & Community Engagement:
- Build collaborations with industry, universities, and research organizations, fostering partnerships and advancing knowledge sharing.
- Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs, promoting a culture of giving back and community service.
- Financial & Resource Management:
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and optimal utilization of funds, ensuring fiscal responsibility and prudence.
- Oversee infrastructure development and maintenance, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters Degree from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership role (e.g., HOD, Dean, Vice-Principal, Principal).
- Strong knowledge of higher education policies, regulatory frameworks, and academic best practices.
