Game Design and Animation Faculty Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to lead and manage our B.Des. Game Design & Animation program.

The ideal candidate will bring strong academic and professional expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media.

  • Coordinate and oversee curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance
  • Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming
  • Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships
  • Integrate programming modules (game logic, interactivity, AI) into course content
  • Lead collaborations with industry and support faculty development
  • Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender
  • Understanding of animation workflows, storytelling, and level design
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage academic operations

You must have:

  • A Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience
  • A strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
