Our mission is to create innovative solutions that transform industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in hybrid UAV systems and subsystems.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the mechanical design of complex subsystems, develop advanced CAD tools, and maintain system layouts and 3D model integrity across revisions. They will also be responsible for preparing assembly BOMs, jigs and fixture interfaces, and supporting design-to-assembly planning.

  • CAD-Based Mechanical Design & Ownership: Lead the mechanical design of Hybrid UAV subsystems and payload interfaces using parametric CAD tools.
  • TAD (Tooling & Assembly Definition): Prepare assembly BOMs, jigs and fixture interfaces, and support design-to-assembly planning.
  • PLM Integration: Experienced in Product Lifecycle Management systems for version control, workflows, and digital thread management.
  • Structural Design & Collaboration: Sound understanding of structural analysis fundamentals and ability to interpret FEA results.
  • Material Engineering & Manufacturability: Strong knowledge of materials with a clear understanding of process-specific constraints.
  • Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing: Well-versed in 3D printing techniques and able to select suitable printer types and material properties.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of experience in mechanical product design. Required skills include proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, TAD, and GD&T, as well as experience in PLM/PDM platforms and FEA results interpretation.
