Job Title:

A Search Optimization Engineer is required to have extensive experience with search engines such as Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, particularly in .NET (C#), with a focus on asynchronous programming patterns and dependency injection frameworks.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of deploying workloads on cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).

A solid understanding of search relevance concepts, including tokenization, stemming, and boosting, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement search engine schema
  • Develop and deploy .NET applications using C#
  • Deploy workloads on AWS
  • Optimize search relevance
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with search engines
  • 3+ years of experience with .NET (C#) development
  • Proven track record of deploying workloads on cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of search relevance concepts
  • Expertise in CI/CD
