Sustainability Engineering Role Summary

Job Description

ArcelorMittal, a leading steel and mining company, seeks a skilled Sustainability Engineer to join its global team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to building a better world with smarter low-carbon steel.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of new ERP FICO functionalities in the Long Products segment.
  • This includes initial demand collection, books of requirements, blueprint, realization, cutover plan, training, go-live, project closure, and project committees.
  • The Sustainability Engineer will also manage a part of the run and maintain activity, developing and supporting current SAP systems within the FI/CO module.

In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to maximize performance and results.

A strong background in SAP FICO customizing, as well as experience with other modules like FSCM, FM, SD, MM, PP, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BE/BTech or any Master's Degree
  • Experience/knowledge of the general industry or steel market/products/production process (an advantage)
  • SAP FICO customizing experience
  • SAP customizing and implementation skills in other modules like FSCM, FM, SD, MM, PP
  • Senior profile - MM and SD integration is a must for the Senior engineer
  • SAP Solution Manager knowledge
  • Ability and experience in managing small teams in project mode
