About Our Cyber Security Position

We're seeking a skilled cyber security professional to join our team and help us protect businesses from cyber threats. With expertise in endpoint security, threat detection, and incident response, you will play a critical role in strengthening our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Endpoint Security Measures: Design and implement effective endpoint security measures using Sophos and other EDR/XDR platforms to safeguard our clients' networks and systems.
  • Design and Implement Policies and Playbooks: Develop and implement policies, rules, and playbooks for threat detection and response to ensure swift and effective incident management.
  • Investigate and Remediate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identify root causes, and apply targeted remediation strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Device Management:

  • Implement and Manage MDM/UEM Solutions: Integrate and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions such as Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or MobileIron to streamline device administration.
  • Configure Policies and Administer Devices: Configure policies and administer devices across various environments (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance for Endpoints: Maintain rigorous control over endpoints to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and internal best practices.

ITSM Tool Management:

  • Manage ITSM Workflows: Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow or ManageEngine to oversee incident, request, change, and problem workflows, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Integrate with Security Operations: Collaborate with security teams to integrate ITSM processes with security operations, enhancing the overall security posture.

Compliance and Policy Implementation:

  • Understand ISO 27001 Standards: Familiarize yourself with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 framework and apply it to develop, maintain, and monitor security policies and controls.
  • Experienced in Audits and Gap Assessments: Possess experience working with audits, gap assessments, and remediation activities to drive continuous improvement and assure regulatory compliance.

General Cyber Security Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-6 Years of Relevant Industry Experience: Bring extensive industry knowledge, having spent at least 3-6 years in relevant roles, including vulnerability management, patch management, and security hardening.
  • Familiarity with Network Security and Access Control: Have an understanding of network security fundamentals, access control mechanisms, and identity management concepts.
