Cyber Security Expert

The primary objective of this role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend measures to enhance the security posture of the organization by safeguarding sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and monitor cybersecurity systems to prevent unauthorized access and ensure data protection.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans in response to potential security breaches, and continuously monitor for potential attacks, intrusions, and unusual activity.
- Analyze moderately complex log reviews and perform forensic analysis to identify unauthorized or unacceptable access to data or systems.
- Conduct thorough security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
- Respond to escalated incidents from the L1 team in a timely manner, working rotational shifts.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Execute tactical security operations tasks associated with this engagement.
- Analyze all attacks and develop remedial attack strategies.
- Perform detailed analysis of incidents and create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with stakeholders on cyber security matters and provide strategic recommendations.
Continuous Improvement- Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits related to information security.
- Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training programs for colleagues.
- Offer guidance to employees on best practices for email management and avoidance of spam and malicious emails.
