Lead UX Product Researcher Job Description

Overview:

This role is responsible for leading research projects, conducting user interviews, surveys and usability testing to gain insights on business problems. The researcher will be the key partner to product development teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to inform product decisions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users and their needs
  • Provide actionable recommendations to product managers and designers based on research findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user research studies
  • Maintain a library of user personas and user journeys
  • Communicate complex research findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with data analysts to ensure accurate and timely data analysis
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user research
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in user research, preferably in a product development company

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in tools such as Nielsen's Heuristic Evaluation and A/B testing
  • Experience with agile methodologies and Lean principles
