Usability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our usability engineering team and contribute to the design of medical products that meet user needs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting usability assessments, creating documentation, planning usability testing, and providing design recommendations. They will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry standards such as IEC-62366.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and assessments to identify usability issues
  • Create detailed documentation of user interactions and workflows
  • Develop and implement usability testing plans to inform design decisions
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) principles
  • Familiarity with IEC-62366 standards is essential
  • Proficiency in Figma software is required
  • Experience with UFMEA preparation is desirable
  • Able to analyze complex user workflows and provide recommendations
