We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile UX Researcher cum Designer to join our Digital engineering team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is passionate about understanding user behavior and translating insights into intuitive, engaging, and user-centered designs. The candidate will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products by conducting research, analyzing data, and designing interfaces that meet both user needs and business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to gather deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and user journey maps.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Plan and execute usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and contribute to a consistent design system and UX guidelines.
  • Present research findings and design solutions for stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in human-computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX research and UX design roles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX research methods and design thinking.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Experience with user research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop or any others).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Added advantage:

  • Experience in designing for mobile and web applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
