
Program Delivery Specialist

Role Summary:
">- This position will play a key role in enhancing the delivery of life skills education to adolescent girls in select schools across Madhya Pradesh. The successful candidate will work closely with school administrators, teachers, and community members to ensure effective program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a deep understanding of Room to Read's Girls Education program design and implement activities based on inputs from national and state teams.">
- Contribute to program planning, working closely with state offices and program officers/associates.">
- Undertake corrective actions and incorporate feedback when provided by supervisors.">
- Participate in monthly review meetings, quarterly meetings, and trainings organized by GEP national and state office teams.">
Onsite Support and Capacity Building:
">- ">
- Provide capacity building support to facilitators on program content, assisting with planning, execution, and facilitation.">
- Co-facilitate life skill session curricula during capacity building sessions for facilitators.">
- Demonstrate and support teachers in life skill sessions, parents' meetings, and other program activities.">
- Assist school teachers in setting schedules for program activities with girls, observe sessions, and provide handholding support.">
- Set visit schedules to schools based on benchmarking indicators.">
Ensuring Quality Program at the Field Level:
">- ">
- Observe life skills sessions and other program activities as per design and benchmarking indicators.">
- Engage in regular handholding and coaching of teachers for qualitative program implementation.">
- Ensure and support school teachers in maintaining program records as decided by the program design.">
- Understand and address factors that may impede quality and fidelity of life skills on the field.">
- Support tracking of quality standards and provide updates to PA/PO.">
- Use life skill observation forms with PA/PO and provide feedback to teachers.">
- Support and facilitate administration of teacher training assessment tools for all trainings.">
- Facilitate or participate in monthly/quarterly meetings of school teachers to discuss solutions to challenges facing program implementation and working with girls.">
- Conduct discussions on program quality with school teachers during meetings.">
- Ensure feedback is given to specific schools and recorded.">
- Support dissemination of LS journals at the school level.">
Liaising, Networking, and Building Linkages:
">- ">
- Support planning and organizing trainings and meetings for government officials with SCERT, Gender Cell, District Officials, Block level/Cluster level etc about the program and its updates.">
- Effective liaison with program school administration for smooth operations of the program design.">
- Support state PO/PA in building linkages with like-minded organizations.">
- Support PO/PA in creating visibility of the program.">
- Participate and support in learning events at the state level.">
Reporting and Documentation:
">- ">
- Fill record and monitoring forms, consolidate, and report to the state office.">
- Support documentation of best practices, case studies, photos, and lessons learned and share with the GEP Team.">
- Maintain general book-keeping of attendance in program activities at school.">
- Record qualitative reflections of sessions.">
Family and Community Engagement:
">- ">
- Lead community campaigns in schools as per the design and ensure stakeholder involvement.">
- Support organizing, planning, and monitoring of parents' meetings (conduct parents' meeting if needed in specific design situations).">
- Support PA/PO in facilitating donor, country office, GO team members' visits.">
- Support ensuring sustainability and scalability of the program.">
- Conduct initial home visits of participants if the design requires.">
Organizational Engagement:

- Participate in regular trainings and meetings with Room to Read staff.">
- Participate in donor/government stakeholders' visits to program locations and provide information about Room to Read's Girls Education Program as needed.">
Qualifications:

- Required: Bachelor's degree in education/social sciences or equivalent; Chemistry/environmental sciences or higher. Minimum experience of 3-4 years (1-2 years of relevant experience in the education/development sector including internships). Good verbal and written communication skills in English/Hindi and the local language of the state where the position is based.">
