Job Title: Automotive Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers on various automotive products.

  • Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and live chat on matters such as cataloging, product specifications, troubleshooting mechanical difficulties, and other diagnostic inquiries.
  • Utilize OE and Aftermarket Service Information Websites to assist customers with diagnostic inquiries.
  • Assist with supporting customers and documenting data for market analytics.
  • Help customers troubleshoot technical situations and provide solid technical advice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers, original equipment manufacturers, or major car service dealerships.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer programs like Excel and other database tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of English proficiency.
  • Possess skills in online database platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and monitor multiple forms of communications while working on multiple computer screens and programs.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a part-time position, working one Saturday per month.
  • Available to work from the office.
