Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical assistance to customers on various automotive products including water, fuel, wiper, filter, brakes, lift supports & ignition.
  • To capture full call details and resolution using a call handling database.
  • To utilize OE and Aftermarket Service Information Websites for assisting customers with diagnostic inquiries.
  • To maintain and work with assigned department metrics.
  • To assist with supporting customers and documenting data for market analytics.
  • To help customers trouble-shoot technical situations and provide solid technical advice.
  • To develop strong product knowledge on our products and uses.
  • To develop expertise on company systems and resources to accurately locate answers to questions and drive continuous system improvements.

Requirements:

  • A Mechanical or Production Engineering degree.
  • Strong automotive knowledge required mechanic or technician work experience.
  • Experience with Tier 1 suppliers, original equipment (OE) manufacturers, or major car service dealerships is an advantage.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills are required.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer programs like excel and other database tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of English proficiency.
  • Possess skills in on-line database platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and monitor multiple forms of communications while working on multiple computer screens and programs.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, working one Saturday per month, and regular hours Monday to Friday. You will be working from our office in the US time zone. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, and we are looking for someone who is hardworking and motivated.
