Crane EPC Project Specialist

Project Execution

Manage day-to-day technical and engineering activities of crane EPC projects.

  • Review client specifications, technical documents, and project scope to ensure design compliance.
  • Coordinate with design teams for layout, GA drawings, and structural requirements.

Planning & Coordination

Prepare and track project schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools.

  • Interface with internal departments – design, procurement, quality, and site teams – to align with project milestones.

Client & Vendor Communication

Attend technical meetings, site coordination meetings, and client reviews.

  • Manage subcontractors and ensure all site activities adhere to safety and quality standards.

Documentation & Handover

Prepare and manage project documentation: ITPs, FAT/SAT reports, commissioning checklists, etc.

  • Support handover and closure activities post-commissioning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Structural Engineering.
  • PMP certification (optional but advantageous).

Experience:
  • 3–8 years in handling projects related to cranes, hoisting systems, or material handling equipment.
  • Experience in industrial, steel plants, power, ports, or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of EOT/Gantry/Jib/Tower crane structures and components.
  • Familiarity with standards like IS, DIN, FEM, CMAA, IEC.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of load testing, commissioning, and safety protocols.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
