Expert HPC Administrator Required

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Administration of HPC clusters, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • User Account management for onboarding and offboarding, ensuring seamless user experiences
  • Creation and Maintenance of AMI Images in AWS accounts, adhering to best practices
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems on HPC clusters, staying up-to-date with latest technologies
  • Support of HPC necessary components and native services by coordinating with respective providers, fostering collaboration and communication
  • AWS Managed Active Directory support and Management, ensuring secure and compliant infrastructure
  • Continuous upgrades to the HPC platform and related components, OS, Java, Python, EFPortal, etc., driving innovation and improvement
  • Implementation and maintenance of necessary compliance controls, conducting regular audits and sharing findings, implementing corrective actions as required
  • Coordination with other teams in testing and migrating/installing engineering applications to the platform, promoting cross-functional collaboration
  • Management of job schedulers such as Slurm or LSF, optimizing resource allocation and utilization
  • Utilization of node provisioning tools like Werewolf, streamlining workflow and efficiency
  • Troubleshooting system issues and providing technical support to users, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring optimal operation of the HPC environment, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaboration with other IT professionals to integrate new technologies into the existing infrastructure, driving digital transformation and growth
