Job Title: Telecom Development Expert

This position entails working on the development of telecom order management solutions using ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement efficient solutions for the Order Management for Telecom (OMT) module within the ServiceNow platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Solution Architects, to gather and analyze requirements.
  3. Develop ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and custom applications to meet telecom order management needs.
  4. Configure and customize Order Management modules to ensure seamless handling of product orders, service requests, and provisioning workflows.
  5. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, OSS/BSS platforms, and legacy systems commonly used in telecom environments.
  6. Support UAT, defect fixing, and performance tuning for order management processes.
  7. Adhere to Agile delivery practices and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  8. Maintain compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and ITSM best practices.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Order Management for Telecom (OMT) module capabilities.
  • Experience in ServiceNow CSM (Customer Service Management) and/or ITSM is advantageous.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and Service Portal.
  • Telecom domain expertise, particularly Order-to-Activation processes, Product Catalogs, Service Requests, and Fulfillment.
  • Able to create technical documentation, design documents, and deployment guides.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
