Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer and Content Manager to enhance the user interface and improve the user experience of our booking platform.

The successful candidate will work on the UI/UX for both the web and mobile app, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience across devices.

Key responsibilities include creating design prototypes, wireframes, and user flows based on the evolving needs of the application.

Responsiveness and mobile-friendliness are essential in this role.

A strong visual identity must be maintained throughout the platform.

Content Management and SEO Strategy

The chosen candidate will regularly update and manage content on the booking portal.

They must ensure that content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with our SEO strategy.

Keyword optimization and image alt-text will also be part of their duties.

Web Analytics and Performance Optimization

Our ideal candidate will monitor website performance using web analytics tools and provide insights for improving design, navigation, and user experience.

Conversion rates, page loading speeds, and user engagement must be continuously monitored.

Requirements and Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as a web designer, preferably in e-commerce or booking platforms.

A diploma, graduate degree, or relevant certification in UI/UX designing is required.

Proficiency in web design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD etc. is necessary.

A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SASS and experience with basic content management systems (WordPress or custom platforms) is required.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them in web content is expected.

A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills, responsive design, and previous web projects is necessary.

Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision is required.

Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a remote setting are essential.

Additional Desirable Skills

Experience working with booking engines or travel portals is desirable.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress is an advantage.

Familiarity with designing tools like adobe illustrator, photoshop etc. is valuable.

Basic understanding of JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like react.js environments is helpful but not required.
