Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to join our team and oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects within a given scope, timeline, and standards.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting project timelines, monitoring project deliverables, updating stakeholders or team members on project progress, coaching and supporting project team members with assigned tasks, documenting all project activities properly, leading and managing MEP activities across projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV systems), coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for seamless integration, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and safety regulations, overseeing procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations for MEP services, conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to design and safety standards, preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders and senior management, implementing energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions, and managing project documentation, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in MEP project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is an asset
