Job Description

KONE India, a part of the global elevator and escalator leader KONE, seeks a highly skilled Technical Field Support Engineer to provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of our products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues identified by manufacturing and installation teams, ensuring products are installed in compliance with KONE's safety, process, and quality requirements. This involves providing remote and site support services for Front Lines and Supply Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote or on-site technical support for installation issues
  • Support digital, APF, software, and BIM-related issues
  • Ensure customer specification requirements are met
  • Train local trainers/employees during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessions
  • Create quality reports after site visits and list issues requiring corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of installation and commissioning processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
