NPI Product Launch Manager Job Description:

  • Maintaining engineering drawings and documents is crucial for a smooth translation into procurement and production requirements.
  • The product design and quality requirements need to be transformed into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners.
  • Creating assembly documentation such as SOPs and APBs, cross-functional teams collaborate to manage Engineering Change Management (ECM), implement changes in production, and drive timely closure.
  • Preparing, updating, and managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products is essential. This includes creating part numbers for all components in BOM, monitoring End-of-Life (EOL) status of products, and planning accordingly.
  • Tracking and managing obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, proactively alerts the engineering team when necessary.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with development projects from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM-Partner.
  • Verifying and ensuring all NPI specifics information/documents are released in JIRA/Confluence, managing 'Data integrity' within JIRA/Confluence, and making it available with OEM-Partner.
  • Supporting and participating in ISO audits ensures compliance with relevant standards.
  • Leading pilot builds, resolving issues, establishing repeatable processes for production scaling.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management.
  2. A strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Production Engineering is required.
