Performance Tester Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to excel in performance testing. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and scalability of software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive performance tests using tools like JMeter, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Collect and analyze test results, providing detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and project management, to ensure that performance testing aligns with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various tools, including JMeter, to ensure consistent and efficient testing.
  • Identify and resolve performance-related issues through root cause analysis and debugging techniques.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this expertise to improve performance testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in performance testing, monitoring, and analysis using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in JMeter, with expertise in multiple protocols, including API and web HTTP/HTML.
  • Hands-on experience in mobile performance testing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team of performance testers and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a global delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of tools like SAR, vmstat, iostat, netstat, and perfmon.
