Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Partner with senior management to define and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to support business growth.
    • Develop and manage talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent, ensuring timely hiring to meet operational needs.
  • End-to-End Operations:
    • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
    • Implement robust HR policies and processes tailored to the organization's needs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.
    • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, focusing on operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Talent Development:
    • Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
    • Develop and implement performance management systems, ensuring regular performance evaluations, feedback, and career development opportunities for employees.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Foster a positive work environment that reflects the organization's values, encouraging engagement, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management on HR-related issues, ensuring proactive resolution of employee concerns and conflicts.
  • HR Insights:
    • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
    • Regularly report on HR metrics (hiring, retention, employee satisfaction, etc.) to senior leadership.
  • Change Management:
    • Lead the HR aspects of business transitions, including scaling teams, mergers, or reorganization efforts as the organization grows.
    • Act as a change agent, driving initiatives that support business transformation and cultural alignment in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with prior exposure to diverse industries considered an advantage.
  • Experience in leading HR for a business unit or vertical, with a strong track record of driving business-aligned HR strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices in India.
  • Proven experience in handling large, diverse teams across multiple locations or business units.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • HR Leadership: Proven ability to lead the HR function for a business unit, providing strategic guidance while managing operational details.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding preferably of diverse industries and the challenges associated with managing HR in a dynamic environment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management, especially in organizations that rely on large operational workforces.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and trust.
  • Change Management: Experience leading HR initiatives during times of growth or business transformation, with the ability to manage and guide teams through change.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze workforce data and HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes.
