Job Title: Experienced Hiring Manager

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive hiring manager to oversee our end-to-end hiring processes for our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and recruiting talent across various functions, including shopfloor, technical, engineering, and corporate roles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand manpower requirements from department heads and plant managers
  • Develop job descriptions and specifications for open positions
  • Plan and execute hiring drives for blue-collar and white-collar positions
  • Sourcing candidates through job portals, campus drives, recruitment agencies, social media, and employee referrals
  • Screen resumes, conduct telephonic interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation/Post Graduate degree from a reputed institution
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on recruitment experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry
  • Familiarity with shop floor and technical hiring (e.g. maintenance, production, quality, R&D)
  • Knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance for recruitment, and blue-collar hiring practices
