Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising efforts, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Your primary focus will be on researching potential donors, preparing compelling fundraising materials, organizing successful fundraising events, and maintaining strong relationships with existing donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Research and identify new potential donors, including high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations
  • Create engaging fundraising materials, such as proposals, reports, and campaign collateral
  • Plan and execute successful fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and direct mail campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, including contact information, donation history, and communication preferences
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, ensuring timely recognition and acknowledgement of their contributions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and presentations
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in CRM software, including donor management and event planning tools
