Data Governance is a cornerstone of successful data-driven strategies. As a Data Catalog and Governance professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that your organization has a well-managed and compliant data environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Metadata Ingestion: You will be responsible for ingesting metadata from various sources into the Collibra platform, including Teradata, Tableau, QlikView, IBM DataStage, and Informatica.
  • Data Lineage Stitching: You will stitch together data lineage across systems, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of how data flows through our organization.
  • Workflow Configuration and Customization: You will configure and customize workflows to meet the needs of business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong Understanding of Metadata Management and Data Governance Principles: You should have a deep understanding of metadata management and data governance principles, including experience with data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK.
  • Experience Working with Various Data Sources/Tools: You should have hands-on experience working with various data sources/tools, including Teradata, Tableau, QlikView, IBM DataStage, and Informatica.
  • Ability to Interpret and Map Technical Metadata: You should be able to interpret and map technical metadata from ETL tools, BI platforms, and databases into Collibra.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Collibra APIs or Connectors: Experience with Collibra APIs or connectors would be an added advantage.
  • Prior Experience in a Regulated Industry: Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as finance or healthcare, would be beneficial.
