We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Taxation and Bookkeeping Associate to join our team in providing high-quality accounting services to clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Preparation

    Prepare and lodge tax returns for individual and business clients in compliance with Australian taxation regulations.

  • Financial Record Management

    Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks, for clients.

  • Financial Reporting

    Prepare financial statements and reports for clients, highlighting key financial performance indicators.

  • Compliance Support

    Assist with GST and BAS preparation and lodgement, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborative Approach

    Work closely with senior staff to process accounting and tax documentation efficiently, minimizing delays and errors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education and Training

    Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with strong knowledge of Australian tax systems and bookkeeping practices.

  • Professional Skills

  • Strong Technical Skills

    Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Excellent Communication

    Develop and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with clients and colleagues.
