Job Title: Performance and Monitoring Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of observability systems, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace, and other tools. They should also have experience with modern observability practices such as SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, RUM, and CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana
    • Script development (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
    • CICD tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Behavioral Competencies:
    • ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks & tools
    • Service Now ticketing system
    • Agile framework and tools (Jira, Confluence)

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented engineer to contribute to improving Quality and overall Delivery. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and maintaining observability systems
  • Developing and deploying scripts using Python, Shell, and PowerShell
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve Quality and Delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Very good knowledge of usage and implementation of observability systems
  • Good knowledge of modern observability practices
  • Experience with script development
  • Common knowledge of CICD tools

Preferred Skills

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup
  • Understanding of key concepts of distributed systems
  • Basic knowledge of RedHat Linux administration and performance management
  • Notions of Ansible and Ansible Tower
  • Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, OpenShift)
  • Experience with any cloud platform
