Technical Documentation Specialist

This role involves creating and revising technical documentation for electro-mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality guidelines.

  • Create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions.
  • Write procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.

The candidate will work on ensuring all documentation complies with industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D), regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), and internal quality guidelines.

Familiarity with structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML is required. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations is necessary.

Strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English is a must. Understanding of S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations is also essential.

Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals is highly valued.
