Casting and Forging Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of casting and forging components for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Review purchase requisitions and release purchase orders with suppliers.
- Collaborate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure material availability according to the execution plan.
- Identify potential risks and escalate challenges to meet expected deliveries.
- Update master data, including KANBAN, in the system periodically.
- Work with the planning team to provide visibility and confirmation on technical feasibility while quoting large projects.
- Implement Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best lead times and costs.
- Prepare and submit regular management information reports related to supply chain operations.
The selected candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement/supply chain management, including at least 3-4 years of experience handling casting/forging commodities.
We offer a competitive salary range between INR 1,200,000 and INR 1,800,000, inclusive of benefits and incentives.
