Purchasing Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain organization.

• Extracts PO Reports and converts PR to PO
• Collaborates with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations, and for deliveries, maintains promise dates and order confirmations
• Updates ERP systems with confirmation dates
• Communicates with internal stakeholders on specific queries related to PO
• Checks supply demand and decides items for release to replenish stock
• Implements exception messages in SAP Oracle plant ERP Expedite Defer etc
• Collaborates with global stakeholders including category managers production inventory control manager and value stream managers for material availability
• Leverages data analysis skills to inform purchasing decisions
• Maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in procurement supply chain or casting forging machining
• Knowledge in strategic sourcing methodology supply chain management contracting procurement and supplier management skill
• Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Excellent digital literacy and technical proficiency including significant data gathering expertise interpretation and reporting for the Supply Chain organization
• Strong problem-solving analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and management
• Advanced Excel Tableau Power BI MS Excel MS Word MS Access PowerPoint SQL
