Job Description:

  • Maintain inventory control of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in the shopfloor according to production plans.
  • Issue materials from warehouses to production using materials handling equipment like RGVs, AGVs, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, and Conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for tasks such as kitting, de-palletizing, palletising, packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, and stock reconciliation.
  • Ensure zero stock variance by conducting regular stock reconciliations, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain cleanliness by moving hazardous and non-hazardous scrap to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders like production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, and SCM to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure accurate entries and document maintenance in SAP as per standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to industry standards.
  • Manage and issue personal protective equipment (PPEs) and consumables.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the right materials for production at the right time and place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prevent production stoppages due to material unavailability.
  • Train personnel on equipment usage and execution techniques.
