About This Role

As a Remote Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support to our users across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for coordinated support.
  • Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
  • Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications.
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in desktop support engineering.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management tools.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
