Job Title: Recycling Operations Senior Technical Program Manager

The role of the Recycling Operations Senior Technical Program Manager encompasses a range of responsibilities focused on driving best-in-class material recovery programs across India. Effective data analysis and presentation are crucial in enabling informed decisions regarding operational and material recovery strategies.

  • This includes designing project implementation plans for recycling and material recovery developments, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement these plans.
  • Key aspects of this position also involve leading new process reviews, approving milestones, and success criteria.
  • In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating program reviews and status updates on top issues to all levels of management.
  • Maintenance of supplier recovery targets is another critical component of this role.
  • Special focus areas include specialty recycler development, qualification, piloting, and onboarding.
  • Researching new material recovery techniques and ensuring timely delivery of engineering and technical aspects of recycling programs are other key objectives.

Travel requirements for this position may necessitate occasional domestic or international travel (40%).

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or master's/PhD degree in an industrial, metallurgical, chemical engineering, or environmental related discipline is essential, along with 8+ years of program management experience in e-recycling, metals recycling/refining/smelting, or manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced project management skills, including coordination of programs from start to finish, are highly desirable.
  • Experience with extractive metallurgy and advanced material recovery techniques would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with sampling, analysis, and working with external labs is also advantageous.
  • An excellent understanding of common size reduction and materials separation techniques is expected.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with business partners and customers to resolve problems and create value is crucial.
  • Excellent presentation skills, ideally using Keynote software, are required.
  • Familiarity with India's recycling and waste regulations is necessary.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capacity, including collaboration with international teams, is vital.
