Product Management Intern Role Summary

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management. As a product management intern, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
  • Participating in the product development process and contributing to feature development.
  • Performing data analysis and learning relevant tools for data analysis.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Setting goals for your features in alignment with the company's product vision and strategy.
  • Understanding user segmentation and applying it in your work.
  • Following complex analysis being done in the product organization and displaying initiative.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 0-1 year of overall work experience and/or product experience.
  • Fresh out of college or internship graduates, or professionals in other fields who want to transition to product management.

Working at Rapido means adhering to best practices for working with cross-functional teams, using relevant tools and processes to ensure timely delivery of features, and understanding and reporting KPIs as per standard practice.

Execution:

  • Program manage the execution of features responsible for from inception to release.
  • Understand and participate in internal and external product/feature marketing.

Stakeholder management:

  • Effectively communicate risks and blockers, approach, and progress to the team (and other stakeholders if required).
  • Work effectively within a small team in the product organization.
