We're seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to spearhead the acquisition of critical mechanical components.

Job Overview
  • This role entails developing and executing sourcing strategies that meet business objectives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and supply chain resilience.
  • You'll be responsible for category strategy development, supplier scouting, evaluation, and development for mechanical parts like suspension, transmission, brakes, clutches, axles, and related aggregates.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with business requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, driving collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Analyze market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and regulatory changes impacting automotive components, informing strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (TS16949 / IATF 16949) and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier base.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, risk management, and dual sourcing strategies to mitigate supply disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of mechanical aggregates, including suspension, braking systems, driveline, clutch, and transmission components.
  • Strategic sourcing expertise, including cost breakdowns, supplier negotiations, and ERP system proficiency (SAP/Oracle/Ariba).
  • Analytical mindset with experience in cost engineering, value analysis (VA), and value engineering (VE).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
