Government Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Liaison Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and government entities.

The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with key officials and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of the FMCG industry's regulatory landscape and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government officials to advocate for our company's interests at local and state levels.
  • Contact Network: Cultivate a network of influential contacts within government departments, including NAPL, Factory Administration, Pollution Control Board, Labour connections, FRRO, and FSSAI- Food Department.
  • Negotiation and Resolution: Negotiate and resolve issues related to permits, licenses, and other regulatory matters.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with senior management to ensure seamless execution of government relations initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Effective Relationships: Proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and its regulatory environment.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically in navigating complex government policies and procedures.
