We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data governance function, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data assets across the organization.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data governance strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Design and manage data quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain data catalogues to provide visibility into data assets and their usage.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure data governance requirements are integrated into technology infrastructure and applications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on data governance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Desirable Skills
  • Professional certifications in data governance, such as CDGP or CDDP.
  • Experience with data governance tools, such as Collibra or Alation.
  • Knowledge of data management technologies, such as databases, data warehousing, and ETL tools.
